At PawSessions, people can bring their dogs for group or private training lessons. PawSessions knows that there is no cookie cutter approach and that each and every dog is different, as is their owner’s needs and preferences. We started our business because of our love of dogs, and it is exactly that which keeps us in the business. Dog training isn’t for the faint of heart! We deal dogs of all ages as well as dogs with mild to severe aggression, leash reactivity, timid or shy dogs, and work on building confidence and independence which is extremely important for all dogs (and people)!
We have never turned away a dog with issues. We do our absolute best to cater to the needs of each dog and person, and pride ourselves on our success with problem cases along with basic training needs.

Yes! We offer drop off training. If you don’t have the time or the energy to train your dog at PawSessions, drop him/her off to get trained by the pro’s. At the end of the sequence, we will go over all we have taught the dog with you, so that you may further practice and implement your dog’s new skills at home and in the real world!

What sets us apart from most “doggie day care” facilities, is that we view our play time more as socialization as opposed to day care. We know that like us, dogs can get overtired and overstimulated, and sometimes they don’t know when to stop and take a rest. We do play sessions in 3 hour increments, which we believe is plenty for getting your dog proper socialization when done frequently enough. We have a cap of 12 dogs at a time, and we make sure that all of the dogs are happy and get along with everyone in the session, and will schedule accordingly. We love to form close relationships with our clients, dogs and humans alike!

The vast majority of dog reactivity or aggression is fear based. It is extremely important to recognize the signs early enough so that you can build your dog’s confidence by also letting them know that this behavior is not acceptable . As responsible pet owners, we need to learn to be leaders to our dogs to keep them safe as well as other humans and pets.
